HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE TRANPORT OF MY VEHICLE?  We request that you schedule your car shipping as soon as possible to insure that your car is moved within the time frame which best meets your schedule. However, if an immediate pick up is necessary, we can arrange for your vehicle to be picked up within 24 hours.

IS MY VEHICLE INSURED?  Yes your vehicle will be insured against any transport damage caused by driver negligence. Our drivers, carry a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance. Each driver is also required to carry a minimum of $100,000 or move in cargo insurance (depending on the size of truck the vehicle is being transported on) Enclosed carriers require more cargo insurance.

HOW DO I PREPARE MY VEHICLE?  Please have a no more that 1/2 tank of fuel, remove all personal items from your vehicle, repair any chips and/or cracks in your windows and make sure your vehicle is prepared for changing weather conditions. For additional tips, see our Vehicle Shipping Checklist.

DO I HAVE TO BE PRESENT WHEN YOU PICKUP OR DELIVER MY VEHICLE?  Yes, you or your designated individual must be present at both the pickup and delivery points for when the trucking company arrives. Please make sure to tell the agent which individual to contact during transit to deliver your vehicle.

CAN I PUT LUGGAGE OR ANY PERSONAL ITEMS INTO MY VEHICLE?  Yes, you are allowed to put up to 100 lbs. of personal belongings in your vehicle. It must be confined to the trunk area and must be well secured. All personal items in the vehicle are placed there at the owners risk; they are not covered by the truck’s insurance. We do not recommend packing electronics, breakable items or valuable items. An additional fee will be charged if you put more then 100 lbs. into your vehicle.

WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS?  Cashier’s check, postal money orders, personal checks or company checks will be accepted for your deposit only. For the remaining balance due, all payments must be made via cash, cashier’s check, postal money order, or official bank check ONLY. No credit cards are accepted for final payment.

WHAT IF MY VEHICLE GETS DAMAGED?  It’s very unlikely that your vehicle will be damaged – but should damage occur, please be sure to note it on the Bill of Lading and have the driver sign it. Claims cannot be processed by the driver’s insurance company if damage is not noted at time of delivery.
