- For vehicles purchased with 90 days of sailing, you must provide proof that sales tax was paid on vehicle on the US mainland (bill of sale is sufficient proof).
- Car is subject to Guam use tax if no proof of sales tax can be provided for vehicles purchased within 90 days of sailing.
- Use tax is 4% of Kelly Blue Book value.
- If the lienholder owns the vehicle, unless tax payment can be documented, use tax is 4% of amount owed on the vehicle
